Your choice of polythene Standard polythene EVA / UVI 720g 4 year clear polythene. This is the traditional tunnel polythene and is ideal for tunnels which are used mainly during the warmer months of the year.

Thermal / Anti fog polythene

EVA / UVI 720g 4 year clear polythene. A co-extruded film with a high vinyl content which allows infra red light to pass through it trapping it inside. This heat retentive film also has anti fog or anti condensation properties which help to stream condensation down the sides of the tunnel reducing reflection and dripping. This type of polythene will warm the tunnel up faster in the morning, keeping a more even temperature during the day and cool down slower at night. A temperature advantage over the standard film of 4°C may be expected. This film is recommended to anyone who wishes to grow plants in the early part of the year or take advantage of autumn and winter growth. Additional protection will be required against hard frosts.

Shade and Windbreak

Netting provides a shaded environment in the summer for plants that do not like direct sunlight and a protective environment for overwintering hardy and semi hardy plant stock. No polythene is included in the Net tunnel kit.

All our polythene is guaranteed against degradation due to Ultra Violet light for 48 months. A sliding scale allowance against  replacement cover of 100% in the first month to 1/48th cost in the last month. The guarantee period will be deemed to start on the date of invoice. Customers may be requested to return all or part of the effected cover at their own expense.
