Making A Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our Catalog, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on "Order" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order.
We accept credit card payment. I
We accept Visa and Mastercard. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Backordered items are not charged until they are shipped. You may send your credit card information via phone, fax, snail mail or over the Internet.
Currency.
We accept £ sterling.
Prices.
The prices quoted in the web site and in our brochure are current, however, Ferryman Polytunnels reserves the right to alter prices without prior notice.
Cancellation of Order.
Ferryman Polytunnels reserve the right to retain any deposit or payment on cancellation of an order to a maximum cost not exceeding of 15% of the value of the order, plus the cost delivery and collection.
Receiving goods.
The purchaser's attention is drawn to their responsibility to check goods when delivered. The purchaser should check the number of items on the consignment note and see that they have all been received and refuse any that are damaged. Ferryman Polytunnels will not accept any liability if goods are signed for which have been damaged or if goods are signed for which have not been received. The signature of a 'proxy' shall be taken as being signed by a person in full knowledge of these conditions.
Shipping And Handling
Delivery charges.
The cost of delivery to most parts of the UK is included in the price of polytunnel kits and replacement covers.
Smaller items up to 1kg cost £5.00 all other items £10.00. See also Delivery surcharges.
Delivery surcharges.
Our carriers impose surcharges for deliveries to certain areas of the UK which will be passed on to the customer. Thes surcharges will be indicated when the order is comfirmed and the charge will normally be passed to the purchaser in full. Further details are available from the office on request. The Highland, Grampian and Island regions of Scotland; the Isle of Man, Northern Ireland, Isles of Scilly, the Isle of Wight and all other offshore islands are currently subject to surcharges.
Exports.

Delivery Schedule
Delivery times.
Estimates of delivery times can be ascertained when the order is placed. We aim to achieve the following times. Replacement covers, ground cover, netting etc - 5 days; smaller polytunnels 7 to 10 days; larger polytunels 14 to 21 days. Orders which contain special out-sourced items may take a little longer. Goods are normally despatched by 3 day carrier which can usually be upgraded to next day delivery for an extra charge. Circumstances beyond the sellers control may affect these delivery times. Ferryman Polytunnels will not accept any claims for consequental loss due to delays in the manufacture or delivery of their products.
Tax Charges
Value Added Tax.
Vat is included in all prices and will be charged at the Standard Rates ruling at the date of Invoice/Tax Point.
Credit Card Security
All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.

Ferryman Polytunnels do not disclose buyers' information to third parties. Cookies are used on this shopping site to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart once you have selected an item, to store delivery addresses if the address book is used and to store your details if you select the 'Remember Me' Option.
Returns Policy
Refunds.
a) Polytunnels. Customers should remember that each polytunnel kit is made to order and should ensure that the specification of their order is suitable for their situation. Where the goods delivered fail to match the specification agreed at the time of purchase the customer should advise Ferryman Polytunnels by telephone within 24 hours and follow this up in writing with 7 days. The goods will be replaced at no cost to the customer.
b) Replacement covers.
Great care should be taken to choose the correct size of cover. Measure the length and width of the frame and the distance over the hoops. Covers which have been opened or unfolded will not be refunded. Covers may be returned at customers cost for a refund or exchange. Damaged covers should not be accepted from the carrier, a replacement cover will be supplied under the carrier's insurance.
Remittance Terms
Reservation of Title.
All goods remain the property of Ferryman Polytunnels until paid for in full. The buyer, entering into a purchase contract, agrees that the seller or his agent has the right to enter his property to recover goods that have not been
